The Sound of Becoming presents music, biographies, stories, event information and links from five songwriters, alongside our event producer. Brand Misfit™ Media presents the event; Charlene Brown of Bklyn Custom Designs® is its Creative Director and Executive Producer. These terms describe the permitted use of the website and its materials.
Personal listening and reading
You may browse the pages, listen using the provided players, follow official album links, and download the program and keepsake where a download is offered for your personal, noncommercial reference. This limited permission does not grant a license to reuse the music or publish, distribute or sell the materials. You may share links to official pages instead of copying or re-uploading their contents.
The creators retain their rights
The featured women retain their respective rights in their music, lyrics, stories and original contributions. Other credited contributors and rights holders retain their respective rights. Publication on this website does not transfer ownership to visitors or create a blanket license. See our Music rights + permissions page for reuse requests.
Use that requires permission
Do not reproduce, re-upload, distribute, sample, remix, adapt, license, sell or use the music or other protected materials in commercial projects without explicit prior written permission from the relevant rights holder(s), unless a valid existing license or applicable law authorizes the particular use. This includes advertising, promotional films, monetized content, podcasts, paid courses and brand campaigns. Credit alone is not permission.
Respectful access
