Meet Shirley
Coach Shirley Ann Felder is a motivational speaker, life coach, comedian, bestselling co-author, and songwriter behind Ordinary Greatness. Known as the “Trash Talk Queen,” she draws on more than three decades of entrepreneurship and lived experience to help women release what weighs them down, recycle their lessons, reclaim their power, and rise. Her songs put her words and stories to music, sharing messages of resilience, self-worth, and becoming. With warmth, humor, and truth, she reminds women that their hardest chapters do not get the final word.
IN HER OWN WORDS
Why this album.
Why this moment.
This project meant more to me than I ever imagined. At 60 years old, after a lifetime of using my voice through speaking, coaching, storytelling, and comedy, I never imagined my words would become music! It reminded me that we’re never too old to discover another part of ourselves. I’ve experienced loss, success, failure, and reinvention, and this album gave me another way to turn those life lessons into messages of hope, joy, and encouragement. For me, it wasn’t about becoming a singer. It was about becoming another version of myself.
What made this experience even more special was the community. Marcy, Karan, Clavia, and Charlene are women I connected with through Clubhouse, and I’ve had the pleasure of supporting and celebrating them over the years. To be invited into this experience truly touched my heart. Community means everything to me. My little album could’ve been out here all by its lonesome, but instead, I’m sharing this moment with some amazing women! If our music touches even one woman and reminds her that she’s not alone and it’s never too late to begin again, then we’ve done something beautiful. I’m just sayin’, we’re not done becoming!
