Meet Karon
Karon Fayerweather is a women’s empowerment speaker, coach, two-time bestselling author, and the lyricist and creative visionary behind the album Boldly Becoming Her. Drawing on her own experience of rebuilding in midlife, she helps women—especially Black women—reclaim who they are, make deliberate choices, and create room for the life they want now through her Her Bold Second Act™ framework. Her album carries that message into music, giving voice to the tenderness, courage, and uncertainty of healing and beginning again. With honesty, warmth, and conviction, she reminds women that their next chapter deserves more than their endurance—it deserves their presence.

Why this moment.
This event is personal for me. So much of Boldly Becoming Her comes from things I’ve lived, things I’m still understanding, and words I’ve repeated on multiple occasions and needed to hear in this album.
My life experiences shaped & grounded me as well as influenced the way I lead and coach other women, especially Black women in midlife; I know what it means to keep showing up while carrying pain, hurt, disappointment, and both physical and emotional fatigue. So many of us have spent years making sure everyone else could keep going, even when we were exhausted ourselves.
It is time for us to put ourselves at the center of our own lives—to give our needs, desires, rest, and joy a meaningful place in the decisions we make. Sharing this music is one way I’m doing that for myself, and this listening party is playing a huge part in letting the words reach other women, share the stories behind them, and enjoy something I’ve created that is near and dear to my heart.
